I am a 40-year-old female taking 50mg/day of Toprol (for HBP) and have experienced the following side effects: Fatigue Lethargy Pain in legs and arms Loss of breath (even when walking very short distances) Odd dreams/nightmares Rapid weight gain (despite no change in eating/exercising habits) Unusually heavy menstrual flow Nosebleeds The cure is worse than the disease! :-(
