Like many other users, my voice is affected by Advair. I constantly feel the need to clear my throat, but it has no effect. My greater concern arose when I indavertently ran out and had to wait 7-10 days for a refill. For that period, I found that my left ear was weeping continually, blocking my hearing. Upon resumption of the Advair, it stopped. I told my doctor and he had never heard it before. The drug enclosure does list "ear signs" as a side effect, presumably of taking the drug, not of ceasing it. Now, though I find it expensive and feel I would rather do without it and use my albuterol inhaler as needed, I am afraid to stop.
