I just was diagnosed with neurocardiogenicsyncope - I have collasping spells. I am only 33 years old with two small children and a husband. I was totally healthy until these episodes started happening. The cardiologist put me on Topral, which I have only taken two pills and the side effects are horrible. Shortness of breath, shakey, nausea, tired, and just don't feel any energy. I just don't feel right and I have only taken two doses. Would I rather live with the episodes or deal with the side effects? I think I would prefer the episodes b/c at least 2-4 hours later I feel better as if nothing even happened. On this medicene - I feel horrible. Have you read the side effects to this medicene???? How can they even prescribe this to anyone. Does anyone feel like I do or am I overreacting?
