I experienced sinus tachycardia with a rate of 236-was started on Toprol XL 25 mg once daily beginning April 2002-these are the side effects I have been having: Regular episodes of an itchy rash on my neck. Occasional episodes of chest pain. Occasional periods of Shortness of breath. Weight gain of 20 pounds ( have not changed my diet ) Fatique. Insomnia.
