I went to my doctor for severe poison ivy that wouldn't stop itching. I received a Kenalog injection. That afternoon I thought the poison ivy was spreading, because the tops of my feet were covered in itchy red welts. The next morning, the backs of my hands were covered in the same welts. I am convinced these hives are from the injection, although my doctor doubts it.
