I have been takig T 50mg. for 4 months now. I had a ministroke...brought on by dehydration in January. The fatigue from the T had me bedridden. and depressed.The pounding in my heart and head terrified me. I cut back to 25mg at night. Weird dreams..and recently my BONES "hurt" and I have been experiencing "numbness" in my legs. I stopped taking T yesterday..as a test..I have never had these issues before. last night the dreams were gone. I can only hope the additional symptoms will disappear as well.
Does anyone experience a high pitched "buzzing" in there head with these BP meds?
I have been taking Toprol for two months........first 50 mg daily then 100 mg daily. I have never felt worse in my life. I have been so weak this entire time. I can barely walk across the room without sitting down. I'm cold, I'm hot, I'm sweating, I'm freezing, I'm clamy, etc etc over and over and over.
I've gained 16 pounds. My heart hurts. AND YES, I have buzzing in my ears like I'm sitting next to a pond and the crickets are going crazy. Sounds like
crickets and cicadas all the time.
I'm weaning myself off Toprol this week. There must be something better than this.
