I was given Yutopar when I went into premature labor with my first son in 1992. When I went into premature labor with my secon son 2 years later, I was given brethine. My doctor said that Yutopar was taken off of the shelves because it had caused heart defects in the babies. My first son has been diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome and has been placed on beta blocker medication. My other 2 children, my husband, and myself have not been diagnosed with genetic LQTS. Is there any correlation between Long QT Syndrome and Yutopar? Please let me know...
