i too have had problems with augmentin. i was on it since 4- 05 for PIDD which is an immune disease thatc auses a person to have bronchitis sinusitis and pneumonia.

i also am on ivig- whoich is plasma by IV every 3 weeks.

I was doing fine until 1 -2007. Then I started getting night sweats. MY PCP thought I had UTI's veen though the tests did not relally indicate it. Every time I was switched to a new antibiotic, I would be OK. I finally saw a urologist and it tuened out to be the Augmentin. I also had severe pelvic pains this week and am seeing the PCP to see if that is connected. So even after being on it 2 years I guess problems can develop.

stopped it and all signes disappeared. finally got a good night's sleep.
