Toprol is a very weird drug guys. I was given a large Rx dose after I had quad bypass. First came the night sweats, then feeling in a fog and tired all the time, horrible nightmares, weight gain, zero sex....finally I told my Dr. He said to cut back on it but do it very slowly. I now take 12.5 mg a day. My pharmacist said that Toprol is one of the BEST drugs....yeah right! Male, age 63
