I have been taking lisinopril for five years with zero side effects. Yesterday morning I woke up and could not breath. I felt like something was lodged in the back of my throat. I began vomitting because of my gag reflex and went to the emergency room. As it turns out my uvula was swollen 5 times its normal size. The ER doc tells me this is a not so rare occurance with ace inhibiters.
