I took doxycycline for ten days for acne when I woke during the night with severe pressure and chest pain. I later had severe pain while swallowing and eating was impossible, other than ice cream, yogurt etc. Even theese are painful. I have been off the meds for 5 days and am somewhat better but am still not nearly well. I was in the hospital overnight while they checked my heart. All tests came back negative.
