I am a 43 year old female with mitral valve prolopse. My cardiologist prescribed toprol 25mg. After 3 months I begin to experience lightheadness and bouts with panic attacks and extreme slowed heart rate. I've had all caradic tests(nuclear test, stress test, no valve damaged, or blockage) My heart rate slowed up so much, I began to sweat. Went to emergency room 4 times in 1 week. Chest x-rays perfect, I will try 12.5 mg of tablet and see how this works.. If no changes I am requesting to take something else..
