To Yasminresearcher, I have been off Yasmin for nearly 6 month...

To Yasminresearcher, I have been off Yasmin for nearly 6 months and I did experience some ear problems when I was on Yasmin. The doctor kept telling me that I had media otitis with some mild infection, a damaged drum and that it would clear, it never really cleared. I am still having some kind of ear congestion : my ears feel blocked and I can hear my heart beating into them especially when I lay down or turn sides in the bed at night, also when I sit and I get up very quickly. This condition was getting better as soon as I stopped the pill but it has started again recently although not as bad as it used to be. Have you experienced the same ? Also what do you mean by 'heart murmur'?
