I took Levaquin for 8 days for a sinus infection. During that time I could not focus (mentally or visually), felt like my heart was coming through my chest and had SEVERE panic attacks. I took 2 trips to the ER but it was no help. Since stopping the drug (I was supposed to go 3 weeks), things began to get better but I sleep all the time and still have nervousness and panic at times. Do these things get better in time? How long? Is there anything I can do to help the effects go away? I'm a 46 yr old male in good health and right now I can't even work! Please respond.
