hi i just wanted to know how your indentations look now that its been around 10 months. i have indentations too its been around 5 months want to knowi if it will fill in or not
I got an injection in my cheek in mid-December. Now it is mid-June, so it has been six months. I feel like this dent has caused me so much anxiety and depression, like I want to hide from the world. I would strongly advise anyone against getting an injection. That said, I had injections when I was about 20 years old and they both left dents, but filled in within no more than 4 months. Why I am not having the same luck now I cannot say, but it is (not to be overly dramatic) rather devastating.
Good luck :)
Hello Noelle,
I just read about your dent. How is it now? How are you?
I had a cortisone injection, one only, in my right wrist mid May. It help with my tendonitis; within a day it had helped as an anti-inflammatory and my pain was gone. BUT over three months later (ie two weeks ago) I woke up with a case of hypopigmentation in the injection area and along the veins up my arm, AND two "dents" around my tendons, thus making my tendons stick out as if my right arm belongs to someone else's body. Additionally, my tendons there seem to be unable to relax and stay in a constant state of tension. Not pretty, and worrysome. Is this process going to keep travelling up my arm? And will it be permanent? Is there a way to revert this process? Or does the body take care of it naturally?
So,please, tell me what happened to you and to the "dent"? Thank you. Monica
