I'd get your doctor to prescribe Hydroxyzine-there are minimal side effects, just a little drowsiness the first couple of days and then it tapers off. You can stay on it for months or until you're sure that the rash is gone for now. It will stop the rash in 3 days time. I'd take 25 mg at a time my until the rash is gone, then you can get the doc to administer 10 mg pills so that you can regulate and taper down a bit for maintenance(to keep the rash at bay).

medrol dose pack i had to take twice for FACE itch rash it went away each time then came back. i just had a shot of prednisolone face is still swollen
and feels tight very dry afterr sho from itching. Cleared up fine after medrol dose pack. Red rash still shows on face, itch on face and underneck. Tried all types of poducts. It is said that this came from an allergic reaction, almost a month and a half and it has not gone away. ANY HELP or direction someone can give me??
