I have been on Lisinopril/HCTZ 20mg for about a month. I have severe fatigue, trouble sleeping, cough, sneeze and have a hideous rash on both arms that itches and is spreading to my back and shoulders. Saw my MD yesterday and he thinks I might be alergic to HCTZ (tried to tell him I was on that for 6 years --no rash -- no side effects) he has now prescribed Linisopril with nothing added. If this has not cleared in one week I'm going off the Lisinopril. I'm wondering what this drug is dooing to my vital organs. Do you think the reaction is confined to just the outside of the body??
