I am now trying Singulair for the second time. It has been a couple of years but the Dr. insisted it would help control my asthma. My problem again is very dry eyes so dry that when I try to watch TV I have to close them. I have tried several eye drops and they only last a few minutes. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I have extremely dry eyes, I took Singulair for 2 1/2 years. I just quit taking it 6 days ago, hopefully all the ugly side effects that I have experienced will go away now. I am starting to feel a sense of calmness that I haven't had in some time. After reading a lot of the postings, I am wondering if any of your doctor's ever asked you if you were experiencing any of the common, now known, side effects? I think I have a wonderful, experienced allergy doctor. But, now I am extrememly disappointed in her for not discussing this medication with me...the doctors have to know by now how much trouble this medication is causing people.
