Your post made me cry. I can identify with you as it sounds very much like my experience on Topamax. I am now weaning off it and am charging Keppra, a very expensive AED on my american express. I lost my job on topamax and my insurance. Topamax is easy to get for free and my neurologist was very quick to get it for me and not so quick to help me get anything else. I am actually living with my mother it got so bad. Now i don't have rent so i can get off this drug. I used to live in Los angeles (ten years) had a great job, a future. now I don't know where I will be but i just want this drug out of my system.
Get your mind back. Do what you have to do but get off this drug. There are other AED drugs. Try your local epilepsy foundatoin. That's what I'm doing.
