I began taking singulair on Thursday, March 28th for a severe allergy/sinus condition. My family Dr. prescribed a combination of Singular, Astelin and Flonase to combat my allergies or at least to make them less harsh. Prior to beginning the regiment, I was given amoxicyllin and Guaifex to clear up a sinus infection, which I concluded the previous Sunday. I took the singular only on Thursday morning (I did not take the flonase or astelin). I will never take it again!! It was absolutely horrible. I woke up for work @ 6 am, took the 10mg pill @ 6:30 am and 2 hours later became lethargic with body aches and severe indigestion. I also came down with what felt like a migrane headache. I dozed off @ my desk throughout the day and just wanted to go back to sleep. It was terrible and my head pounded like I was hit with an anvil. I threw out the remainder of the pills ($48 dollars later!!!). I have never had such an adverse reaction to anything and I have no other explanation as to why this occured other than the Singulair. I am now just beginning to feel better (It is now Sunday 03/04/07).
