I have taken Prednisone 3 times now in a 4 month perioed. I started out with 90MG a day and then weaned off the drug only to be put back on it two more times due to COPD. I developed red skin blotches and pimples which I thought was from the antibiotic Levaquin. This last time on Prednisone I was given Azithromycyin and still got the small pimples and red blotches so I can only guess that it is the Prednisone not the antibiotic. It goes away after weaning off the drug and and doesn't itch or anything. The prednisone does help me to breath so I guess it's a good trade off.
