Folks, I have spent over 20 years in confusion and depression. Two years ago I began treatment with lithium, I thought this was a miracle for my bipolar disorder. But Not all good things last... In October of 2002 I had a medication problem (of course it was one of choice, I was tired of takinig the medication). I never bothering telling my therapist that I had formerly been on thorazine also. Have ever heard about the thorazine shuffle? Since I began on lithium and zyprexa in December 2002 my life has improved even more. I am able to cope so much better, I am not a wallflower any longer nor am I too concerned about what others may think. The minor side effects of the occassional weakness and the constant hunger does not really bother me... I am a great cook and I just take a minute or two to regain myself at those moments of weakness. Unless it is really dibilitating, as long as we are receiving a helping hand let us not bite that hand. Remember what we were , or were not, before zyprexa. good luck and blessings, JIm
