I'm 19 and I began taking Advair in March 2005 after a doctor put me on too much prednisone without weaning me off of it. I took Advair 100/50 for about 5 months and they upped my dosage once or twice during that time. I also take singulair, and my asthma was back under control, but I wasn't sleeping, had terrible anxiety, and my weight went from around 145 lbs to a little over 160. I went back to my doctor to see if I could get off of the medicine, but they said it would go back to normal. After my 6th month, I began vomitting after every dose. I was then switched to Asmanex, which I still take now, and am experiencing the same problems all over again. I wouldn't recommend this type of medicine to my worst enemy.
