I started taking Lisenopril a week ago and feel horrible. I feel like I could throw up all of the time, have hot flashes and horrible headaches. I went back to the doctor today and he said that it was normal and should subside in about 4 to 6 weeks. I don't know if I can wait that long. Has anyone else had this problem? Lisa

Yes, i was on the drug for about eight weeks.i had a constant headache, very low mood and high BP. My BP was sustained at 150/100 give or take a few. I asked to be changed to Enalopril because I had been on this before. It is much bettter for me. The most important thing is my BP has dropped.

I have the exact symptoms which subsided somewhat after about three weeks, but now at weeks five and six the nausea has returned.
