Prescribed to Sulfameth Tuesday March 20, 2 a day for 10 days, for an abscessed spider(not actually positive that it was) bite after having it lanced and drained. Started with a massive global headache, and slight fatigue. Then moved to extreme nausea and feeling like my throat was closing, shortness of breath. Followed shortly thereafter by vomiting, loss of appetite, disconnection from the world... Basically everything every other negative testimonial has mentioned with the exception of the rash... Either way this drug is trash. I stopped after only 4 doses. Today being Saturday, 3 days after stopping, the vomiting stopped yesterday but the horrible stomach cramp is still present. I am slowly getting my appetite back but any foods I look at look terrible and don't taste right. I can't drink anything but water without feeling like there is a nasty film in my mouth. I hope this subsides before my 21st birthday next tuesday or I'm going to be pissed. Never taking sulfa drugs again.
