so far i'm loving it. this is week 5 (my dr told me to change every 3 weeks to prevent endimitriosis so i'm not getting a period). Last week, however, i started getting the most AMAZING leg cramps. I'm just wondering if this is a side effect of the nuva ring or just really bad dehydration (i was in the carribbean working for the past 2 weeks). Any information you have on leg cramps related to nuva ring usage would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to be one of the serious side effects of Nuva Ring, my friend. Here is waht I found for you:

Any of the following may indicate a serious vaginal ring-related complication. To remember, use the acronym A-C-H-E-S.

-Abdominal pain, severe (especially if located beneath the lower right rib cage)
-Chest pain or shortness of breath, severe
-Headaches, severe
-Eye problems, blurred vision, flashing lights or total or partial blindness
-Severe leg pain (calf or thigh) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
