Levaquin 500 mg 5 days , side effects : Dec 1, 2006 severe burning and tingling of all extremities continue. muscle twitches and tremors continue tachycardia continues constpation resolves hands going numb, experiencing dizzyness (new) I think I have CNS damage....does anybody know if these symptoms can be permanent. I had EMGs of all extremies and skin punch biopsy all negative for axonal damage. Whats left but my BRAIN /SPINAL CORD!!!!!! Has anyone recovered from similar symptoms ? ..I can't imagine living like this forever Mary

yes i've been having the same reactions. dizziness, high anxiety and the feeling that i was having a stroke. then came the numbness and leg stiffness.
tremors at night, loss of balance, vision and hearing problems. the list goes on and on. rapid heart rate and abnormal ekg was the last straw and i stopped taking the levaquin but it was too late. the damage is done and
now i'm ruined for life. it's hard to believe somebody would prescribe this
neurotoxic medication and not give a warning. these effects are irreversable
