I began taking singulair on Monday, March 26th for a severe allergy/sinus condition with a chronic chough. My family Dr. prescribed a combination of Singular, Claritin and Flonase to combat my allergies or at least to make them less harsh. Prior to beginning the regiment, I was given a Z-pac to clear up sinus infection. This was one week earlier. I took the singular at night as instructed by my doctor. I took the Claritin and Flonase in the morning. I was hoping that the Singular would be the one drug to help stop the annoying cough. On day 6 of the Singular I noticed my cough becomming deeper in my chest. My doctor told me that it takes about 10 days for Singular start working. By day 7 it was difficult to get a good breath between coughing episodes. I am making an appointment with my doctor to see if i should continue on this med. I also experienced some dizzyness. I will probably stop taking this due to this horrible deep cough and thickening of the mucas that is occuring.
