unforunately yes loss of labido is a major side effect...i fear my boyfriend is a little bitter about me being on Topomax, but it has stopped my fits, so he's OK with it. I checked out the weight loss thing and apparently it only stops if you increase your sugar intake...so start feeding her donughts pronto! I know it might sound like I'm joking, but on the medication info that comes with my tablets it says that topomax can cause "sudden and drastic weight loss" and that to combat it you have to start a high sugar diet or come off it. you might want to both talk to her doctor coz it could get serious. "luckily" my side-effects made my periods mental so I had to go on the pill, which combats the weight loss issue nicely, so I didnt have to change my diet. Though that also lowers sex-drive, so as you can imagine things are not all fun and games in our house...good luck man!
