I take 7.5 mg. of warfarin daily, and have been for about 5 years...

..I take 2.5mg every day and 3.75mg on Friday. Haven't equated lack of sleep with Warfarin. Notice vision changes may need stronger lens. I may have DIC(disseminated intravascular coagulation) been on Warfarin for about 2yrs prior to open heart surgery(valve job) Now i have adverse reaction to Heparin another anti coag. So when every You have surgery or dental procedures Need to tell all. Been on Warfarin for 5 yrs total. Change in Activities,exerciseand diet affects. this drug. INR could be hi or low Don't forget your dark green vegies,like broccoli. I don't sleep well either. I was prescribed Remeron, anti depressant take a quarter of 15mg pill to get 6 hrs of sleep. Never dizzy Check your BP

PS I get a blood test every 2 wks up to every 4 wks depending on INR. Wow I wish I can go twice ayear. Save some blood vessels. I'm a 55 yo,woman and slowly fall apart. But going to live life to thhe Fullest

My husband has been on Warifin for 6 years at 10mg a day he has factor 5 he has all the syptoms that you have to the point of losing his job after 28 years with the company and then losing another jobe after 6 months because he can't retain his memory any longer he has one other problem with warifin that is hallucinations they started before he left the hospitol after being put on warifin we have been to neurologists interns teaching hospitols and they can't find any reason for this. His been on all sorts of meds but with no relife. We have decided to take him off warifin for a week to see if this is the cause of it. Have you had any hallucinations I will give you an example He was watching tv when the people in the tv came out and sat on the couch, they just last for a matter of seconds they leave him tired twicthing and nuseated.
