I started taking Bactrim for impetigo, and a week later my whole body was itchy, red, swollen, and had huge welts everywhere. It was horrible. I'd never had an allergic reaction to a drug before, so it was very difficult.

My husband is going through the same thing. For a month now he has been itching, has welps especially after showering. He was on Bactrim. What to do, how long will this last, what can we use to relieve him. Seems like we have tried everything.
