In July of '06 I received a Kenalog shot in my buttocks because of asthma problems. I never knew why my skin was sinking in, at the same place where I received the shot. Now, nine months later, I can almost sink my fist in my butt because the dent keeps getting larger. I just learned a few days ago that it was because of the Kenalog shot. Is the dent going to keep getting larger or is there some way that I can stop it. Somebody please help me.!!!!

I had a tummy tucky two years ago and did heal properly so I had several shots of Kenalog and now the scar is very indented. I am very frustrated and researching to find out how can I fix this because it looks very bad. Right now the only thing I can think that might fix the problem is fat transplant but I do not know if it is possible.

I had cortizone/kenalog injection on a Keloid Scar, the Doctor gave me about 25 shots over three month period. Now I have an indent along the scar over my lower abdomen. The Doctor said that it should bounce back but it has not yet. It has been about 3 months since the shots. I have an up coming appt on June 20 with the Derm who gave the shots. I am still coming to terms with what I should do. I am hoping that it will fill in, but can get no imformation about it.

The appearance from the shots is not to bad. It kind of looks live a divet, but also looks like my abs are cut in so the countour is not to bad. I went to a plastic surgeon and he suggested some lipo to suck out more surrounding fat so everything looks more even. I am still looking for an alternative solution. If anyone knows how to fill back in a dent please post it will help so many individuals.
