i have been experiencing severe nose bleeds. they have become more and more frequent. the blood seems to drip out like running water. i have had three today. i never had this problem before the birth control, but have happened while i use it. they dont clot, and last 30 minutes. and i am starting to fear for my life. ladies please never use the neuva ring.... ever.

I spent 2 weeks in the hospital from Toxic Shock Syndrome where they gave me a 25% chance of living all due to the NuvaRing.

I was on the nuvaring for 2 weeks...YES 2 WEEKS...and as soon as I took it out, I began having severe nosebleeds with clots...I will never go back again and I knew the cause was the ring because I am 29 and I have never had a nosebleed in my life. This is so not right...the nurse did not explain any of this to me and it took GOOGLE to discover what was wrong with me; I initially took it out because I gained 5 lbs in the 1st week....then the nasty nose with nasty clots. Not sexy.
