Levaquin should never ever be prescribed with a steroid. It can cause tendon rupture, though your doc will probably not know anything about it. Check out the FDA prescribing information for Levaquin. You can find it online. Share it with your doctor. Also, the tendon side effects of Levaquin can last up to six months after you finish taking it. If you're still taking steroids, I would reccomend stopping immediately. My doctor tells me only time can heal my joint problems from Levaquin.
