If you don't mind responding can you be more specific with the pain in your legs. I've been on Advair 17 days and have had five episodes of sudden excruciating pain in my calves while laying in bed in the morning. I've had nocturnal leg cramps for years but usually only one every 4-6 months, nothing like this. Any information you give me will be helpful.

Hi, me and my daughter have been taking Advair for 3yrs now. At first I noticed that my breathing was better I didn't have to use my Albuterol as much. However; I too have noticed weight gain, and my hip kills me, it wakes me up at night. I also, have noticed that I have nerve pain in my hip joint and it makes my leg spring forward while I am walking. Weird, the doc says theres nothing wrong. My daughter, has had such terrible leg cramps, she cries, and I have rub her legs. I have also read a asthma related deaths due to Advair. It increases the severity of attacks when they do accur. So, I have decided to come off of Advair and my daughter too. We are going to stop dairy, and gluten. I am researching natural alternatives. I have been taking albuterol for yrs with out Advair and had my asthma under control. I would rather take albuterol than something that could cause me or my daughter life.
