I have been on NR for almost a year. Each month, my depression gets worse. Today it was unbearable, so I started researching and found this site and many others telling me that there is a connection. Here is my question: My depression occurs during the week that the ring is out. I took the ring out Saturday and would normally put in a new ring this Saturday. I am not going to do that, but I am wondering how long these side effects will linger. I have seen many posts saying the side effects are gone within 24 hours of taking the ring out, but since my worst side effects occur during the week that the ring is out I am wondering when all of this will be out of my system. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I'm glad you mentioned that because this is my first month using NR and I took my ring out 2-3 days ago and I'm experiencing this tremendous feeling of depression. I cried myself to sleep last night, and when I woke up this morning, I cried again. I was thinking that since it's suppose to be that time of the month, my emotions were just crazed but now I'm seeing that it might not be me, but maybe the side effects of NR itself. I wonder if I should continue using the NR, I got another 4 months supply.. or should I just give it up and try something new? I don't want this to get worse!
