I have been on Doxyxycline for about 9 months (Was on 100mg/2x a day - now 100mg once a day) and it has been a great treatment for acne - until my recent trip to the beach.
I experienced the weird tingly feeling in my hands after a long day in the sun, and now a week after the beach (I wore 30 spf sunscreen there) my skin is still hot. I didn't burn, but my temp is 100 - though I don't feel like I have a fever. My arms and legs are hot. This site is very helpful as I wasn't sure what was going on. Though I'm not at the beach, I think I'm still getting sun, just even by driving during this 90 degree Carolina sun.
For those experiencing nausia - take it with food (not dairy) or take it right when you go to sleep (as long as you stay asleep).
