I have experienced a lot of muscle spasms, cramping in my calves ...

Only the last year I have been experiencing occasional cramping, especially in left calve. I awoke with an intense cramp in that calve a few times, which I had never had before. I don't know if it is Yasmin. I used it for 2 years, went off of it, broke out extremely bad, and for that reason resumed it. What concerns me the most is my Husband thinks my heart beat is irregular, which would be new. The natural path I saw said my thyroid is imbalanced now and that I am estrogen dominant. I do have beautiful skin and managed periods while on Yasmin.

My doctor told me that Yasmin is a diuretic (i think that's how you spell it) which means that it makes your body use extra water. She is on Yasmin and was getting horrible leg cramps and it's because she wasn't drinking enough water...once she drank more water, the cramps stopped. I'm about to start Yasmin and this website is making me a little nervous, but I'm sooo tired of condoms!

i've been on yasmin for 13 months...in the beginning i was irregular (2 week period in my 4th month) but after that i'm good....i have noticed my lower legs do cramp a lot....i thought i might be getting restless leg syndrome, but after reading this it makes me think....it kind of feels like lactic acid build-up (the day after you drink heavily...your body aches).....last week i also had a severe charlie horse which is an intense cramping in my calf...takes like 3 minutes to go away which feels like an eternity!! i'm concerned about my legs aching i'm going to the gyno next week so i will definately ask. has anyone else had a decrease in sexual libido....cause i never feel like having sex and my boyfriend and i use to have sex like 3 times a week...i'm concerned.....thanks!!!
