I started taking Yasmin about 10 days ago. On the first day I was at my computer and noticed that I suddenly couldnt focus on my screen. My vision became blurry. I also felt sharp shooting pains behind my legs.I took it for 7 days. During that time I became extremely tired, lethargic, fatigued, my eyes hurt. I slept for longer hours, and just felt generally drained. This was highly noticeable to me since I go to the gym everyday, and I didn't even have the zeal or energy to do that. My breasts became very sore and sensitive. The shooting pains moved from the back of my legs to random parts of my body. I stopped taking it after the 7th day and noticed an immediate improvement in my energy level the next day. I didnt need as much sleep, my eyes felt much better, not grainy and painful like I had to close them all the time. Now, the 11th day, my breasts are no longer tender, and all the other symptoms are gone. These are just the facts. I personally WILL NEVER take this pill again!!

I started taking Yaz about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I stopped taking it yesterday because I feel awful. I am extremely tired which is not normal for me. The most bothersome thing fo rme is the pain in the backs of my legs. One minute the muscles in my upper legs are aching and pulling and the next minute it is my lower legs. I get strange sensations too. Sometimes it feels like burning and somtimes it is this annoying gnawing feeling that I can't even describe. I also get apins in my stomach. On the up side, my period was almost non-existant, which was great. I have also felt like my moods have been very level and I am almost extra calm. I stopped taking it mostly because I can't stand the leg pain. It is making me very nervous.

I had horrible side effects from YAZ... i was always feeling sick, i suffered from isomnia, i had blurred vision, the shakes, you name it, I had it. It was really bad...I went to the dr. and he gave me anxiety medicine...I found out that the YAZ was to blame, by doing my own research.....(my parents helped me too) I came off YAZ about a month ago, I still feel sick, but I feel better than I used to!

Hi Ladies... Well, i have been off the pill for almost 2 years now, last August I was diagnosed with PCOS & Endometriosis...I had a Laprascope Surgery in Sept.which cleared the Endo. up for a while. but now this summer it has returned and is excrutiating pain...My gyny put me on Yasmin to prevent the Endo growing back further. I have now started the Yasmin 4 days ago and am exhausted, dizzy & sick!! But i feel that i have no other option but to just live with this horrible feeling in order to prevent the endo from growing back....Help me... I would love someone to help me out if they have had any kind of similar situations.....
Sue.
