I started taking Geodon 80 mg twice a day, a month ago, because the Risperdal I had been taking for 8 years caused me to gain 100 pounds.
I noticed that every afternoon beginning between 3 and 4pm on Geodon, I would start having muscle tension, EXTREMELY SEVERE ANXIETY, fright, stiffening of the neck muscles, etc. I thought it was just my body adjusting to it. Well, after a month on it, and with the afternoon attacks getting more and more severe, I'm going to quit taking this CRAP. I refuse to suffer like this, when I really don't need antipsychotics anymore anyway.
I'm going to step-down from it and throw the rest of the bottle away. In my opinion, this stuff GEODON is extremely dangerous and bad stuff.
