I am just finishing up a 5 day course of Levaquin 750mg for a sinus infection, and I am so glad it's over! I too had the zombie feeling, and could not sleep AT ALL for 3 days straight. No sleep makes you feel crazy!! I couldn't think right, and was getting emotional because of it. I also noticed joint and muscle pain, and very pale hands and feet. I was going to stop after the first pill, but I knew that you are supposed to finish antibiotics. WhatI am trying to figure out is why an antibiotic would caus such side effects!?

I am on levaquin 750mg right now. I notice I didn't get much sleep last night, but let me tell you I feel 90% better. This is a miracle drug. My sinus have cleared and my face pain is almost gone and I have only been taking it for one day.

I am also currently on levaquin 750 tablets for sinutitus. I have taken 2 doses. The first night I slept about 2 hours, I just couldn't fall asleep. Last night wasn't much better, I finally fell asleep around 3:00am and woke up at 7:00am having to urinate something terrible. I am feeling better though. My doctor has prescribed a 5 day dose. I wonder if my sleep will be affected for the intire 5 days? This is a powerful antibiotic.... I've read where you should drink up to 2 quarts of fluids per day with this drug. I have a history of kidney stones, so I'm drinking water like a fish. It also effects your taster as well. Foods just don't taste the same. I hope the 5 days goes quickly.

I have taken Levaquien 750 mg tablets twice in the last year and I must say this is a very good antibiotic. I do not understand how some people on this site can write that they felt high or were not able to sleep while on Levaquin as it is an antibiotic. Antibiotics do not make people high.

I am currently on day 6 of a 7 day prescription for Lavaquin 750mg due to sinutitus. I too had difficulty sleeping the entire night after taking my first dose earlier that afternoon. The second night was not as bad. I have not had any more sleepness nights and would take this antibiotic again if it were prescribed. I am feeling so much better now!

well..Today my doctor prescribed me 750mg of Lavaquin , i went online to read all information about that pill.. now i'm kind of scare and there's a lawsuit against this pill what should i do!???

Sorry to say, but it sounds to me like you have an addiction problem.

I have a touch of pneumonia and was prescribed Levaquin 750mg and I took it at about 6pm last night for my first dose. I was wired! I couldn't fall asleep until after 2 and I get up at 5. Needless to say, I am sleepy today at work. I think I will take this drug during the day vs in the evening. I do agree it does make things taste different. I'm on this for 7 days, and if I can't sleep for 7 days....I'm in big trouble!

You need to watch TV . . . .the FDA is warning about this dangerous drug and attorneys have ads. STOP TAKING IT !!!
