I've been on Yasmin for nearly 5 months now and as of last month, all the major side effects started really kicking in: leg cramps, fatigue, moodiness, weight gain, irritability, depression, foggy thinking, breast enlargement, vaginal infections, etc. So my question is this: If a woman experiences side-effects with one pill, won't she experience them with any and all other pills? I would almost rather just go off of them altogether because I feel like even though the drugs vary from one to another, ultimately they have the same effect: to fill you with hormones to "trick" your body into thinking it's pregnant all the time (no ovulation) so that you won't get pregnant. Any thoughts?

I have been getting really bad depression on these Yasmin pills. i have always been a sort of depressed person but i have had quite a few nervous breakdowns since taking these pills. the vaginal infections are too much to deal with. i am constantly having to go to clinics to get tested for all kinds of things and mistrusting my husband. i had a problem with an ovarian cyst while i was on Yasmin. the periods i am getting are all messed up.... like spotting all month and heavy. i am so tierd even after 10 cups of coffe a day and most of the time i dont wish to be alive. so i recommend anyone having negative effects from these pills. either stop taking them or find something better to take.
