I began taking this drug for an ear infection--after about 7 days...

I began taking this drug for an ear infection--after about 7 days I thought that I was developing the flu. My body ached all over, stuffy nose and felt terrible. I was not having any of these problems before taking the drug. I came upon this site and immediately stopped taking the drug. I have taken benadryl and Nyquil and received some relief. After two days off the drug and taking the benadryl --I feel like a new person. Hopefully no permanent damage has been done. Not sure why anyone whould prescribe this drug with all of the side effects.
