I am taking .65 mg premarin but still having sever hot flash's and mood swings. I was on the patch but the adhesive made me break out and I could not wear it. Does anyone know of any tablet form of hormone replacement I might try. These hot flashs and mood swings are drivng me crazy!!

I have just started Premarin .625 and the hot flashes are still unbearable. I was taking Prempro .625 and the hot flashes were almost non-existent. I was told by my doctor that these are for women who still have some of their reproductive organs and not for those of us who have had a total hyst. I am going to request that i be put back on the previous meds because I can't take the hot flashes any longer. This may also work for you.
