I started Wellbutrin about a week ago and I have the same. Joint pain in both of my middle fingers and ring finger on my right hand. Very painful and getting worst. This is my third try on a different anti-depressent. I am ready to stop all this medication and go it on my own. Sometimes I think the medicine is worst than what it is treating.
I too have been on Wellbutrin SR 150 mg 2x a day and I have the same swelling in my pinky and ring fingers. I can't even wear a ring that I just bought last August. I am weaning off the medicine right now and am going to talk to my doctor about a different medicine.
Man, i thought I had some weired disease or something. Since getting on welbutrin, swollen fingers, athritic like pain on middle finger, headaches that spring up from nowhere!
My bupropion (Wellbutrin) treatment has led to knee joint pain that just wouldn't go away these past six months. This week I stopped taking the daily pill and my knee feels better. I need more time to see if it will go away but I am very hopeful it will.
I thought I was getting arthritis at 43! I have been on Wellbutrin 150 mg x2 a day for only 6 weeks. Recently I had a shoulder issue for 3 days followed by finger or wrist pain and swelling at the joints. Ibuprophen would take care of it in one day but then a new pain would occur the next. It's weird cuz it's not all at once but rather one after the other....I couldn't even make a fist bec my middle finger was so swollen at the joint and then the next day it was fine but my right thumb was swelled up at the joint. This has been going on for 10 days! I have a call into the doc after reading all these posts.
