Wellbutrin is a wonderful drug. It completely changed my life! The only thing that I had as a major side effect was ringing in the ears. I am still taking it - sometimes the ringing is terrible but the good outweighs the bad. My psych told me that I can split the regular Wellbutrin. If you are taking an SR or XL form you are not supposed to split them. Call the pharmacy and check with them - I think that they actually know more about the drug than the doctors prescribing them.
