Hi I read your bulletin and wanted to say that i too am experiencing the same symptoms! I was only wondering if you knew how long the pill will stay in your system once you have stopped? I feel like my Doctors dont believe me when i say my symptoms are BC related. How did you go about going off the pill? Thanks for sharing your story it's great to know that other people are going through what you are too, and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks!!

I just read your post and wanted to comment on what you said about Yaz and PMDD, and you fitting the symptoms of PMDD perfectly. You also said that you felt crazy while you were on Yaz. As a psychologist, I can tell you that PMDD can easily be confused with many other disorders such as depression and anxiety. Unless your symptoms only occur in the week, or sometimes two weeks, preceding your period, you may not have PMDD, but instead be dealing with something like clinical depression or anxiety that will not be helped by the pill. In people with depression and anxiety, the pill can often cause these conditions to become worse. You may want to discuss this with your doctor, or get an evaluation by a mental health specialist. I hope this helps.
