Took Levaquin for twp weeks and now can hardly walk in the morning. The pain and stiffness in my joints is really bad.Could this be the cause? It did"t start till I used this. Marsh

Yes, Levaquin is the cause...do not take NSAID drugs like Aleve or Naproxen as this will compound the condition...a mistake I had to learn the hard way. Hopefully this will subside once the Levaquin leaches out of your system....don't let your dr tell you otherwise...it IS the Levaquin....my life has been significantly altered and am now disabled and live with daily pain....good luck!

I took Levaquin for 8 days and stopped ....I ached so much and could hardly walk up and down my stairs.. Became dizzy and Dr did lab work and my sugar was high which I have never had problems with before and was dehydrated...The Doctors do not think it is from the Levaquin ..well, I never had this pain with moving, walking and going up and down the stairs before.. short of breath also... so does ever end? I mean am I disabled from this .. I have been off of it about a week now.. when does it get better??

Relax and just wait, it will be a long while maybe but you will be better. I found that babying yourself and your knees especially helps but NOTHING stops the pain and you just have to endure the lasting effects of this "WONDER DRUG"!!! Marsh
