I've been taking Femcon for 3 months now. I have been having really irritating bleeding. The first month I had a week of breakthrough bleeding and then my normal period. The second month was totally fine, no spotting or breakthrough. The third month was complete hell. I basically bled for 3 weeks straight. It sucked big time. They do say though that it's normal to have breathrough the first 2-3 months. So hopefully my fourth month will be better. I haven't had any major stomach pains or diarrhea, just minor pains. But I did read that they encourage people to take their pill before a meal, usually the biggest meal of your day. I don't know if that would help. Maybe you should try it.

I just started taking femcon 2 months ago. The first month was bleeding all the way through the period. It was more painful and bloody than usual. Sorry for the description, but it was true. My breasts were very tender, more so than ever. I figured the 2nd month would be better. I have had tender breasts all month as well as breakthrough bleeding. I don't know about anyone else but I don't know how they can tout their low incidence of break through bleeding because I have taken 3 other pills before and NEVER had that occurence. I switch to this one and have had nothing but crazy side effects.
