I don't know specifically about overheating, however, the night sweats and tiredness seem to suggest that your body is going out of whack from the lisinopril. I think it messes with the body's mineral balances, which leads to many of the symptoms that people get with these meds. This drug is also known to be devastating to metabolism. I'd get off of it ASAP before it does more permanent damage to your energy levels. You didn't mention the tickle in the throat or cough, but if you stay on it then soon you'll probably start getting them along with some lung and breathing problems too - and you might still even after you quit. After quitting lisinopril, try boosting all of your minerals a bit, both regular and trace minerals, to help heal and to avoid additional problems caused by the imbalances. It takes weeks for lisinopril to get out of your system.
Best of luck to all
Hi, I read your story about the bike ride and having to quit the race.Thats quite disheartening after all that trainging.I too have experienced my body being very sensitive out of doors and in particular when I'm in the direct sun.Like you said when the temps began to go into the 80's I began to feel sluggish, tired and almost faint.I also notice that when I don't force my intake of water I feel light headed at times and tired. All of the symtoms I'm Having are identical to the ones that are posted here. Why are you on the Lisinopril?I take this drug along with atenolol once in the am adnd once in the pm.I do notice that as the 12 hours is coming to a close and my next dose is needed my symptoms from the drugs are deminishing and i start to feel like myself again.I will also include that I'm getting blood test done every 6 months to keep tabs on my liver and my other blood components. All tests have come back in the normal ranges. This drug took me many months to tolerate and I lowered the dosage myself and informed my doctor. If you are fit enough to ride so many miles on your bike whats the lisinopril for?
